Young people who find themselves in a challenging situation will receive care from professional social workers. This gift helps a young person get back on track with studying or working life.

Tens of thousands of young people have dropped out of school or working life. Many struggle with loneliness, financial worries, mental health problems, or substance abuse. The Vamos Youth Service of the Deaconess Foundation offers support for young people aged 16–29 in the form of individual and group coaching. About 2,000 young people participate in Vamos activities every year. The Vamos Youth Service has around 100 employees in 11 locations: Espoo, Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lahti, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Siilinjärvi, Tampere, Turku and Vantaa.
